Hiranyavarna Mahabihar

Hiraṇyavarṇa Mahāvihāra, also Kwa Bahal informally called The Golden Temple with literal meaning "Gold-colored Great Monastery" is a historical vihara situated in Patan, Nepal. Located in north Patan the Golden Temple (Kwa Bahal) is perhaps the second most popular attraction here after Patan Durbar Square. The temple gets its name from the gilded metal plates that cover most of its frontage and it is one of the most beautiful in Patan. The Golden Temple is one of the famous Buddhist temples in Patan.
