Take it easy by the Birendra Tal watching as the Manaslu glacier melts into a turquoise lake. The Tal is named after the late King Birendra of Nepal.It can be reached by 45 minutes walk from Samagaon. Those of you who like to wash bath in distant waters will find it pleasant to dip in its chilly ice water. The lake can be visited on the way from Samagaon to Samdo, as it is a relatively short diversion from the main trail.
